The meeting started with the review of the minutes of the last meeting at LTK on February 6, 2001.

The action items from last meeting:

• Regarding section 1.1, Alex Sinyak checked with Tom McGean. Per Tom McGean, since the proposed change is an editorial one it is not advisable to revise PAR. Therefore, members decided not to change the PAR.

• Larry Meisner provided the definition of cycling.

• Alex revised section 3.7 explaining C5A discharge rate.

• Alex provided the wording of the first sentence under section 6.1.

• Larry Meisner rewrote the section 6.2.2.3.

After discussion on action items from previous meeting, the minutes of the meeting were approved.

The draft standard, rev. D1.4, was reviewed line by line by working group members. The review started from section 6.2.2.3.

It was decided that Jim McDowall and Larry Meisner would rewrite the section 6.2.2.3. The members decided that this section explaining the State Of Charge should be a separate Annex.

Norm Vutz will look into para 6 on page 8 "Weather of US Cities, …. and low temp". If there is need for this section in the standard then Norm will provide the wording for this section.

Next meeting will be held on May 7 (Tuesday), 2001 at Saft in Cockeysville, MD
