2.1              Proposed Scope:

“This standard establishes the information to be displayed on trainborne and central graphical user interfaces in communications-based train control (CBTC) systems.

2.2              Proposed Purpose:

“This standard will provide for consistent trainborne and central graphical user interfaces that take advantage of the characteristics of communications-based train control (CBTC) systems to enhance service effectiveness of a rail transit system.”
