Bill Reed Students Bring Genetics to Life

Seventh-grade biology students at Bill Reed Middle School explored how traits pass from parents to offspring by designing and creating “Punnett Pets.” Students predicted genetic outcomes, built creative models using a variety of mediums, and showcased their final pet families in a hands-on science project.
