The Dual Language Immersion Program—offered at Truscott Elementary School, Cottonwood Plains Elementary School, Bill Reed Middle School, and Lucile Erwin Middle School—develops students' proficiency in English and Spanish through an academic curriculum that prepares them for a globally competitive and collaborative future.

Thompson School District believes in fostering an inclusive and supportive culture in our schools and administrative campuses. This was demonstrated by Superintendent Dr. Marc Schaffer, Board of Education president Barbara Kruse, and Board of Education member Nancy Rumfelt hosting a community engagement session with the "Cafe con Leche" parent group at Truscott Elementary School on November 29.
