Human Services Pathway

Colorado Career Cluster: Health Science, Criminal Justice, and Public Safety

The Health Science pathway is offered at Thompson Career Campus. All students in this pathway are required to register for the concurrent enrollment credit. The Health Science pathway allows students to earn FREE Tuition Community College credit through Front Range Community College for the work they complete at Thompson Career Campus. This is a 2 year pathway.

Year 1

Semester 1

  • Nurse Aide Health Care Skills (NUA 1001 - 4 credits)
  • Nurse Aide Clinical Experiences (NUA 1070 - 1 credit)

Semester 2

  • Medical Office Administration (MAP 1010 - 4 credits)
  • Introduction to Medical Terminology (HPR 1038 - 1 credit)
  • CPR for Professionals (HPR 1011 - 0.5 credits)

Year 2

Semester 1

  • Disease Process and Treatment (HPR 1032 - 5 credits)
  • Pharmacology for Medical Assistants (MAP 1050 - 3 credits)

Semester 2

  • Medical Assistant Lab (MAP 2038 - 4 credits)
  • Medical Assistant Skills (MAP 2040 - 4 credits)
  • National Exam Review (MAP 2069 - 1 credit)
