What is the Summer of Opportunity? It's Summer that WORKS for you!  Throughout spring semester 2026, we'll be using this special edition of the Career Compass Work-Based Learning Newsletter to continually spotlight these work-based learning opportunities:

Senior Hiring Fair

Seniors share that they are staying local and want a job. Bussing is offered for this event.

Staying local after graduation? This event is for you!

  • Event Organizer: Thompson and Poudre School Districts
  • What: The Senior Hiring Fair is for graduating seniors who are staying local and are looking for a longer-term part-time or full-time job, or entry into a career. The event will feature businesses and organizations from throughout Larimer and Weld counties who will host informative booths, taking applications and resumes, and even interviewing on the spot! This is a FREE event.
  • Who's Invited: Graduating seniors who are staying local and are looking for a longer-term part-time or full-time job, or entry into a career.
  • When: Thursday, April 9th. 9am to 12pm.
  • Where: Foothills Mall in Fort Collins (northwest entrance near H&M)
  • How to prepare: Bring multiple copies of your resume, dress nicely, and plan for the possibility of interviewing with recruiters at the event.
  • Bussing Offered: Skip the traffic and secure the job! When you sign up in Xello, you can select to ride with us or drive yourself to the event. Join us on the bus and make your day easier!
  • Sign-up: Sign up in Xello. Permission forms are required so you can be excused from school.  View and print the event flyer.
