Questions
- What is the status of the dress code? How is the lack of dress code standards affecting incidents throughout the school, such as sexting, inappropriate behavior, sexual harassment, sexual assaults, false reporting, and bullying?
- How can the district ensure that students get equal advantages regardless of their home school?
- Regarding the transgender policies that were recently passed, how is it not a parent's right to be made aware of their children's medical care treatment? If there is a fear of abuse, isn't that a matter for CPS?
- What did TSD do for Constitution Week?
- Gemini (AI too) by Google is blocked for students under the age of 14. Does the district have plans to purchase an educational AI platform that students can utilize?
- Are there school guideline requirements the administrators are required to communicate regarding safety and other important announcements? Can we leverage text message alerts in addition to email?
- Are schools required to send a weekly newsletter, or is it just best practice?
- Is TSD planning to add additional sports at the middle school level?
- Can at least 20 minutes be set aside for open discussion among participants at DAC meetings (the sessions are very informative, but the presentations take up the entire meeting)?
- How are you protecting young women involved in sports activities from competing against non-biological females?
- What are we doing to stop bullying/violence in schools?
- Will the textbook reimbursement for concurrent enrollment continue?
- Can the "I Matter" program be promoted more for students?
- Why does the survey distributed to students in the classroom need to be cleared with "higher up" beforehand?
