GDQA, Classified Staff Reduction in Force

A reduction in force of classified staff personnel shall consider the job performance history, quality of service, specific qualifications of individuals and length of service, as well as district needs.

All classified employees (support staff) are employees at-will and, as such, are employed for an indefinite term and may be terminated with or without cause. Nothing contained in this policy or accompanying regulations shall alter the at-will employment status of the district’s classified staff.
