HC, Scope of Negotiations
Written requests for negotiations between the Board of Education and the Thompson Education Association (TEA) may be submitted by either party on matters only to include teachers' salaries, fringe benefits (including leaves), grievance procedures, negotiations procedures and number of annual contract working days. Additional mutually agreed-upon items may be presented for consideration at the beginning of negotiations.
Items outside of the scope of these foregoing matters may be presented either by the TEA or the Board for consideration by the Professional Concerns Committee. Such items must be presented by January 10 for study, information gathering, and discussion by PCC and all others concerned.
