If, during the course of negotiations, a mutually agreeable solution to an issue or issues is not reached, the Board of Education or the Thompson Education Association through their representatives may mutually agree to submit those issues to Three on Three, mediation and/or fact finding.

A list shall be prepared including all items tentatively agreed upon and those items to be submitted which shall show the last position taken by each team. The list shall be signed by the spokesperson of both teams and presented to the Three on Three teams, mediator and/or fact finder. To clarify the differences between the parties, each item submitted to mediation shall show the last position taken by each team. This list shall be signed by the spokesperson of each team and presented to the mediator.

Mediation will occur in accordance with TEA Agreement, Article 7 – Negotiation Schedule and Procedure, Section 7-9 – Selection of Mediator, subsection 7-9-2
