IHBD, Compensatory Education (Title I)
Title I funds shall be used to provide educational services that are in addition to those regularly provided to all district students.
Non-federal funds provided to Title I schools, excluding those spent for special, mandated programs, shall be sufficient to secure for those schools services at least comparable to those provided to other schools.
District personnel shall follow the procedures established by the state to demonstrate that all schools receive comparable, non-federally funded services and that Title I funds are used to supplement those services. They shall maintain appropriate records documenting their compliance with this policy, including proof of equivalence among schools of teachers, administrators and auxiliary personnel; and equivalent provision of curricular materials and instructional supplies.
