The Department of Curriculum and Learning Design focuses on development, alignment, and support of content curriculum for all areas EC-12. The department also supports buildings through offering professional learning opportunities and coaching. A comprehensive curriculum begins with the Colorado State Standards, includes a learning progression, learning outcomes, quality resources and professional learning to support the instructional needs of each student. The Department of Curriculum and Learning Design works to support all of these curricular components to help ensure that each student is getting the best educational experience possible in the Thompson School District.
