Please submit entries by Nov. 21st, 4:30pm.

We are excited to share the theme for the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration for 2026: “We Cannot Walk Alone.”

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. dreamed of a world where everyone is free, valued, and treated with fairness. He reminded us that we are stronger when we stand together, support one another, and work toward justice side by side. Even in times of anger or pain, Dr. King believed that love is the better path where we embrace unity rather than division.

As he said in his “I Have a Dream” speech (1963), “…Their destiny is tied up with our destiny. And they have come to realize that their freedom is inextricably bound to our freedom. We cannot walk alone.” This reminds us that when one person is treated unfairly, the harm touches us all. True freedom and peace are only possible when we choose kindness, justice, and love together.

This year, we invite you to join our art, music, and writing contest! Show us your vision of how we can walk together toward a world where everyone belongs, everyone is free, and everyone is treated with love.
