Health Advisory Council
Established in 2007, the Thompson School District Health Advisory Council is a volunteer committee that recommends Health Services Department procedures, protocols, and policy changes. Recommendations are finalized through interdepartmental review and School Board approval (if needed). The council is chaired by the district’s Health Services and Early Childhood Health Coordinators.
Council members include:
- Physicians and medical professionals
- Parent and public health representatives
- School and emergency medical services (EMS) representatives
- Community agency representatives (local health department and child care organizations)
