Comprehensive Screening and Assessment System

Component information

In TSD, we use various products to support our work. Please consult the eduCLIMBER and FastBridge pages (linked in this section) to learn more.

This MTSS Component is defined as:

A Comprehensive Screening and Assessment System is the coordinated effort of gathering information across multiple measures to support decision making at the system and student level for the whole child. (CDE, 2021)

NOTE: This is a "new" component identified by CDE, although it has a relationship to all other Components and has had a history within the MTSS framework even prior to its inclusion in the revised/current CO-MTSS framework (2021).
