The Environmental Health and Safety Management Department is committed to ensuring the district's compliance with local, state, and federal environmental standards and regulations while addressing environmental health and safety concerns for staff, students, and visitors. Through the implementation and management of robust environmental health and safety programs, the department works to minimize environmental exposures and maintain safe and healthy facilities across the district.

  • School Health Inspections Support
    The department collaborates with health authorities to ensure schools meet all health and safety standards, identifying and addressing any issues that may affect the well-being of students and staff.
  • Chemical Inventory and Management Guidance
    Providing oversight and guidance for the safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals used in district facilities, reducing risks and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Fire Safety Compliance & Education
    Promoting fire safety through regular inspections, compliance with fire codes, and education programs designed to raise awareness and prevent fire hazards in district buildings.
