Security Systems
The Security Systems Department oversees and maintains the critical infrastructure that ensures the functionality and reliability of Thompson School District's safety and security systems. This department ensures operation and integration of advanced technologies across the district, including:
- Electronic Access Control: Configuring and maintaining systems to regulate and monitor building access.
- Video Surveillance: Overseeing and upgrading camera systems to ensure continuous and high-quality monitoring capabilities.
- Key Management: Organizing and tracking physical key systems for secure and efficient access.
- Two-Way Radio Systems: Maintaining communication networks to enable reliable district-wide coordination.
- Fire Alarm Systems: Ensuring fire alarms are up to date and functioning appropriately.
Through the maintenance and enhancement of these critical systems, the Security Systems Department ensures that the district’s safety and security infrastructure operates efficiently, supporting its daily needs.
