Open Enrollment

Thompson School District has a learning environment for all students.

Open Enrollment is open to families who live outside the TSD boundaries, but may choose to enroll their student in a Thompson School District school. Families living inside the Thompson School District boundaries should use the Choice Enrollment process for their students.

Open Enrollment for the 2025-26 school year opens on November 1, 2024 and closes on August 14, 2025.

Three-Step Open Enrollment Process

  1. Complete and submit the open enrollment application. You should receive a confirmation email with additional information.
  2. The applications are processed by their priority grouping in the order in which they are received after Choice Enrollment closes, and there are no resident students left on the desired school’(s) waitlist.
  3. If offered a seat, families must accept seat within five business days.
