Community Forums Related to Infrastructure Needs and "Special Levy" Process

This is a reminder that beginning this Wednesday, Thompson School District will host a series of community forums that will focus on the district’s future capital needs as well as the "special levy" process.

Over the past several months, district Master Plan Committee members have collaborated with staff to identify infrastructural needs throughout TSD. Identified needs include items related to maintenance, safety and security, educational program enhancements, and population growth within specific areas of the district. In the forums, district staff will provide an overview of the identified needs and solicit feedback that will be utilized by the Board of Education as it considers a potential bond measure for this year’s fall election. Staff members will also present information regarding the potential for a "special levy" ballot item to address additional needs within the district.

The community forums will be hosted on the following dates. All meetings will be held from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm.
