Thompson School District is committed to ensuring that every student, parent, and staff member is respected and valued in our schools and workplaces. In an effort to create safe and accepting spaces for all, we encourage you to report any concerning experiences. Each of us in TSD is vital to our goal of fostering an inclusive and supportive culture.

Please see below for ways to report concerns or incidents that may negatively impact student or staff experiences in Thompson School District.

For general questions and concerns that are unrelated to any of the categories below, please contact your student's school directly.

Safe2Tell

To report a safety concern, call 1-877-542-7233, text S2TCO to 738477, or make a report on the Safe2Tell website.

Safe2Tell is a confidential statewide reporting tool for students, families, and community members. Safe2Tell is monitored 24/7 by the Colorado State Patrol and relays tips directly to law enforcement and Thompson School District safety and security staff.

Use Safe2Tell to report concerns such as:

  • Threats of violence or planned harm
  • Suicide threats or self-harm
  • Illegal activity

Harassment and Discriminating Conduct

If your concern is non-emergency and not appropriate for Safe2Tell, you may report it directly to the district.

Examples of concerns appropriate for district review:

  • Sexual harassment
  • Discrimination based on sex and/or gender
  • Discrimination based on culture or ethnicity
  • Bullying
  • Racial and/or homophobic slander
  • Antisemitism
