Sarah Milner Elementary School is a neighborhood school located in the southwest portion of Loveland. At Sarah Milner Elementary School, you will find a collaborative community dedicated to meeting the academic and social needs of each and every student.

Sarah Milner Elementary School Highlights

All of our teachers are trained in Sheltered Instruction Observation Protocol (SIOP), a lesson planning delivery system that incorporates high-quality practices that benefit all students. The SIOP model does not mandate cookie-cutter instruction; it provides a framework for well-prepared and well-delivered lessons for any subject area.

Along with Walt Clark Middle School and Thompson Valley High School, Sarah Milner Elementary School is an AVID school. AVID’s mission is to close the achievement gap by preparing all students for college readiness and success in a global society. AVID Elementary is a methodology that promotes best teaching practices to develop consistency in thinking, processing, and delivering information by both students and teachers.

Sarah Milner Elementary School is proud of the fact that we’ve received the No Place for Hate designation for the past 10 years. No Place for Hate is a self-directed program helping all stakeholders take the lead on improving and maintaining school climate so all students can thrive. To be designated No Place for Hate, a school must complete a needs assessment, form a No Place for Hate committee, sign the Resolution of Respect, participate in A World of Difference® Institute’s anti-bias or bullying prevention training program, and design and implement three school-wide anti-bias or bullying prevention activities.
